I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest thanks to each of you in the way you have risen to the occasion to help our co-worker, Martha Ramirez. This time last week I sent out a request for assistance for our co-worker in San Antonio, who was the victim of a fire that resulted in a devastating loss. It is unusual that in just about 5 weeks we have had two of our co-workers experience such devastating losses but, never the less, you stepped up to the challenge and gave sacrificially to once again help a co-worker in need.
Thanks to the contributions of over 100 employees we were able to present Martha with a check for $10,000 which will undoubtedly provide some much needed financial relief and hopefully also relieve some of the stress I am sure she is feeling. Martha has expressed her deepest appreciation for your support and is humbled by your kindness and generosity.
I too am humbled by the way this family has once again rallied around each other to help one of our own in need. I realize I have said this before, but the way you have once again exhibited a “better way to care” for each other is amazing. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing company and to have the privilege of working along side you to truly be the “better way”.
